so, here in the states there is this politician that has based his whole career (seemingly) on going after corrupt, evil, greed, immoral corporations and general evil doers. so he gets elected as governor of New York. not too shabby, pretty big state and all.
apparently, said politician loves the whores. really though, who doesn’t? so there’s a big scandal that broke yesterday about how he would order ladies when he was down here in DC testifying in front of congress and shit. well not while he was testifying, but and night, you know. right.
so the ‘agency’ he used had ladies who’se rates varied from $1000/hr to $5500/hr. wow!
so in consulting (which is just corporate whoring) we have a phrase that we some times kick around with a client after a couple drinks, though i personally dont’ know if it’s true or not. it’s something to the effect (affect? i can never keep that straight, same thing with ‘that’ vs ‘which’) of “well (insert name), you know there’s a difference between a hundred dollar hooker and a thousand dollar hooker…”
i guess the point is you get what you pay for, or sumshit. but my god. what do you get for a 5500 dollar lady? sweet jeebus, what does she do? I’d love love love to know what goes in to the econmics of prostitution. i mean, i guess part of it would be the actual skills, or whatever. i dunno how you quantify that, exactly. but ok, whatever.
then there’s the branding/prestige of the firm (ha firm)-mckinsey consultants get more money than i do, i could be smarter (unlikely) but they’re with mckinsey so well they bill more.
i’d guess that these are the types of ladies that one could take out on the town to a diplomatic reception and shit–but apparently, no one does– they just bang’em. so really, is it just that they’re that hot? or something. fascinating. totally fascinating.
now i’m not gonna get into the whole ethics/morality of prostitution, here. i’m guessing, but this, and the heidi fliess type hookers dont’ seem to be sex slaves, or drug addicts or pimped out-apart from his poor wife and kids, this is a seemingly victimless crime. but daaaaaamn 5500/hr. i bet people get blocks of 3-4 hrs. imagine. just imagine.
though you’d be fucking old ugly doods. hmm, ok there is a draw back.
any one with any insights-please comment….

The easiest rule for “which” is that you should only use it in a subordinate clause, which is easy to spot because it’s set off by a comma.
Yay, whores.
