not much here, really. doing the working from home thing, getting in to a groove. having full blown conversations with henry. he’s a good converstationalist, wisdom beyond his years. I think this go around pretty different. for one, i can’t see people on teh street like i could, i suppose this is good and bad…i sorta miss crazy guy. at least he was good for entertainment.
so what else, well not much. ex coworker don bought and xbox and is hot to trot on getting some online halo 2 action going. i’m a bit resistant, i’llneed to get allsorts of gear to get up and running, though it might be fun in the end. i dunno.
so winter is a comin’ and i’m looking forward to it, well parts of it. this house, inspite of my best efforts is still pretty drafty, well not drafty, really, i don’t feel full on drafts, but it has cold spots. i guess that me to fix this winter. i did by a space heater for my would be office. that should help.
man, slow news day.
well more later, if the mood hits me.

I see Mr. Pumpkinhead is sticking around a bit longer this year. Are you going to keep him until Mr. Easterbunnyhead comes around?

Don is soooo totally busted. See, he thought he was slick - asking me earlier this week if he could buy a Honda CRX. I get him to agree it’s not a good idea right now, and he’s fine with it. The next day, I get an email asking if he can get an X-box instead, which is much cheaper and safer than a CRX, as he pointed out. And he told me you had one and really wanted *him* to get one so you could play games online together. I think to myself, gee, that hardly seems like something Natty would approve of, but who am I to judge? And so he comes home last night with his big GameStop bag and I say nothing. And he gets his ass kicked in tennis by the machine, and yells and curses, and still I say (almost) nothing. And today I come here, being the faithful jefke reader I am, and find out you don’t have one and aren’t sure you want to outlay the cash. Hmph. My husband is shady.

Perhaps Don and Jefke need time-outs from each other, lest they create more mischief.

Jeff does have an Xbox. You don’t even know what you’re talking about. He’s talking about the fancy accessories (headest, etc) that you “can” get in order to play online. They are not required. The only thing really lacking is the game, which obviously he would not have yet b/c it just came out.
So, like I said, make sure you know what you’re talking about before trying to go off.

It does not matter anyway, Jeff’s got HELOC! He’s got it made in the shade!

well,
don is right i do already have an xbox, i was a present from natty for my 30th b-day. sadly i don’t play it very often so an excuse to get some use out of it might be good–so with that said–
i didn’t say i wasn’t going to buy the stuff (wirelss adaptor, headset, extra memory).
halo 2 does look pretty slick, and with jon moving down, he’s all mr video game so we can get a ‘clan’ going or whatever those nerdy people call it.
as for the crx–i dunno, don needs a sensible commuter car, like a ford festiva or something.

Ford festiva = death on wheels. In the end, the CRX not having air bags really wasn’t a good idea. Unfortunately any small car that does great on gas for that cheap most likely won’t have air bags either.
