what the hell is that supposed to mean anyway…

well inspite of my recent pissy pantsdom, i’m trying to bust out some serious work here at, uh, work. i’m taking tomorrow off to the exotic hershey park in far off PA, and seem to have a deadline of revising my monster requirements document by COB friday. to this end i even stayed late yesterday–i know it surprised me too. all in all the rewrite does not seem as bad as i had feared, i had a meeting with the co worker (not don) that was down on the req’s and we seemed a lot less pissy about it than he initally appeared to be.

In retrospect, i feel it was his pissyness (perceived or actual) that fed my pissyness last week. so i’m gonna try to work on my enviromental pissyness shield and block out all external pissyness, god knows i have enough of my own. who knows, maybe it’ll work maybe it won’t.

other than that…hmm. oh it’s week 23 of the olympics, or at least so it feels. i can’t tell you how sick i am of gymnastics. oh sure they do incredible stuff, i’m so sick of people not “sticking” their landings and losing 1 tenth of a point and possibly 5 tenths for stepping outside the lines. why do i know this shit? i think i had a nitemare that i didn’t stick my landing while getting out of the shower. and the beach volleyball–god give it a rest–not even the skimpy outfits can carry the 12 hrs of volley ball a day. i actually tried to watch it the other day, it’s fricking boring, there are basically no rallys—ugh.

what’s normally cool about the summer olympics are the crazy ass sports that no one knows about. for example we say the women’s trampoline competition the other day–that shit was crazy. it seems that they don’t highlght that kind of stuff anymore. I want to see the gold medal round of butterfly catching, or orienteering or something. i dunno. i suppose it’ll be over soon and then i’ll just have to wait 3 weeks for the next one.
