Ha, and they said i was crazy

well, you all laughed and made fun of me when i was throwing out my theories of the polter-buick and all the various murder weapons in the yard. well here’s some hard proof.

Bullet15657657986_468.jpg

i found this under henry’s tree on saturday. the writing on the bottom leads me to believe it’s from a .357 magnum. a BULLET, in my YARD, gary! (that sucker’s real)–weird science…anyone, anyone?

so i not knowing anything about guns, i think this has not been shot, this particular bullet, and i can’t tell if the top is missing or just all corroded, but nevertheless, this discovery does not warm my heart. maybe the owner of the polterbuick is buried in said buick. shot in the head 3 times by some other rival buick owner…who knows.

speaking of guns…we went and saw farennheit 911 on saturday. the movie itself was good, done with a good mix of humor and terror–the facts are upsetting, though i don’t take them at total face value, propoganda is propoganda one way or another–at the same time, i think mr. moore is prolly right about all the shit he put in. so yes. bush is bad, evil and all that shit. i knew it on friday before the movie, i know it now….

…the really interesting thing was the audience. i shit you not, there was a pony tailed 45 year old in front of me that got up and got a cappuciono before the film. i couldn’t see for sure, but i’m postitive that he was wearing teva’s.

i have never been to a “liberal” movie, at least that i know of, especially not the day after it opens, i guess this was as close to being part of a rally as i have ever (or hope to ever) will be. the mixture of people was interesting. old, young, and many many middle aged (well it was a 5:00 pm showing). it appears that young woman liberals do not wear bra’s, even though most of them really should (maybe there was a bra burning around the corner) i did see 4 hybrid cars after the movie, and surprisingly a couple SUV’s– it woudl appear, based on this sampling, that liberals dress very warmly in the summer, i saw one chick with a full on trenchcoat–even though it was 80 some odd degrees out.

people were clapping and cheering during the movie, and they clapped at the end. This i don’t get. it’s not like michael moore can hear the applause, well unless he somehow sits in every showing of the movie–i don’t clap for a good tv show–so why clap in the movie theater….oh wait, i get to show everyone else you liked the movie. hmm. like i give a fuck that mr ponytail liked the movie.

and clapping when a plane lands..what’s up with that… do the same people boo if the pilot crashes the plane? do you clap when a bus gets to it’s destination? weird.

well anyway, go see the movie, it’s worth a viewing, no matter what your political views.

now, on to getting a gun to defend myself from polterbuick man….

Um, is that a weapon of mass destruction? Rimmed cartridges are SO 1897….

Jeff has wepons of mass destruction in his backyard. And, with him hating Bush now, he’s the next target. The troppers are going to storm fort jefke this week, I know it!

“Fahrenheit 9/11″ took in a whopping $21.8 million in its first three days, becoming the first documentary ever to debut as Hollywood’s top weekend film.

Ya know, Jeff–now that you’ve posted all that context, my first post seems, well, silly. And we both know I’m not silly….

And hey–it’s better to find cartridges in your yard than bullets lodged in your walls. It means that someone was shooting from your house, rather than into it.

Jefke, Cormac posted when you just had the pic up and no text. Perhaps that would explain what you perceive to be speediness. About your post, I clapped, yes I did. I don’t normally clap at the end of movies for the same reasons you cited- why clap for peformers and directors who aren’t there. But my clapping for the film was more a means of concurring with the audience on my strong approval of and support for the film. It just felt like the natural thing to do, perhaps more so becuase there is so much involved in this film. It’s not just for entertainment. Of course, you also like to make fun of me for yelling at stupid people on the TV, but it makes me feel better to get it out than the wrap it up tightly and push it down, way, way down. Oh, silly me! I forgot who I was talking to here. Ha!!

That’s a bullet? That looks like a thermos for coffee. Maryland crime is so tame in comparison to here.
