well kids, not much at all to report
just another wednesday. really didn’t feel like working much today, but got some stuff done. it’s the end of another month, which i only really notice because bills are coming due…but anyway.
not to get all polictical, but it seems sorta bad that not only are people dying over in iraq, but now they’re getting dragged around in the streets a hector style. something’s gotta give–that just aint right.
Every once and a while, we here like to turn the mic over to you, our faithful and loyal followers…
well anyway, how are you?
do YOU have anything to say?
Perhaps there is someone out there that visits, and has not commented, maybe you’d like to introduce yourself to the group…?
(er, it was worth a try).
anyone know of any good webhosts (not windows–thanks but no thanks don)-my current one seems to crap out for hours on end right after they bill me every 6 months, as much of a pain in the ass as it is to move, i’m seriously contemplating it. ugh, and it is a huge pain in the ass.

What is new with Jason?
Got my A Perfect Circle tickets in the mail today. I am quite excited for that show in May. Good seats too - front row of one of the sections on the side! I can see without fear of getting sucked into a pit of slamdancers.
I don’t have any good leads on a webhosting place right now. I know that mine is worse than yours :-). One of my friends seems to have a cheap place out there somewhere. I’ll ask around. Also….you *could* run it on your home PC and use dynu or dyndns to register it. I have done that in the past and it works well. You just have to not mind serving up content on your home PC. Oh yeah and you have to keep on top of the patches. And installing and maintaining PERL…And ummmm….checking logs. Maybe not such a good idea.
And I think that tonight I am going to watch School of Rock. I am excited to watch it. I jsut watched Shallow Hal and am looking forward to another Jack Black movie.
Later!

sweet, perfect circle, i don’t know them as well as i’d like to. Is paz playing bass with them again? i have a crush on her, which has brought me much ridicule from my wife, but i dunno something about the female bassist in a heavy metal band playing heels, oh that and how she says she has orgasims on stage some times……
the chances of me trying to host my site out of my house are next to nil, or null, er not gonna happen. escpically with the blistering 128k upstream i have.

School of rock was good. It’s nice to see a movie that can be funny as hell without every other word being shit or fuck. Jack Black is pretty damn fucking funny in my book (shit, cock, fuck)!
Being Jenni’s husband, I too am pretty damn psyched about leaving for our cruise later today. Hopefully you’ll have fun here at work without me jefke. Don’t go psycho and stab anybody with a pencil!

I didn’t know you were going on a cruise, Don. Hope you have a great time. I hate you! Please, allow me to be bitter now- I’ve never even been on my honeymoon and you guys are already on subsequent vacations. Wait, wait, wait. I really have nothing to bitch about. I did just have my spring break and boy was it a blast. I visited my great aunt in the Alzheimer’s home near BWI (since I was near the airport, I almost went far away) and I also cleaned crappy (literally) bird cages for a friend who works at a wildlife rescue center. Then, after all that excitement, I got to clean the cat boxes at home. That’s kinda like digging in the sand at the beach. So there, HA! Look who thinks there having so much fun now.
(Please note the sarcasm. I am not usually so bitter, but I could REALLY use a vacation. Jefke and I have not ever been on one together, EVER, and we’ve been together for over ten years. Though, I’m a little nervous for what might happen to Jefke in all the sunlight if we do actually make it to the Bahamas this summer. There was good reason for the old tag line, Little, PASTY, Different.)

wow, a blistering bitter fit from natty, i’ll have to remember this one.
and her bidness about us never having gone on a vacation is not true, we did go to london and scotland for almost a week back in the euro days. true we have never done the get on a plane and go somewhere type trip, well except to belgium, but that was less of a vacation than another olympic trial for my liver.
little does she know that my skin is so white that it actually reflects the sunlight and i am impervious to sunburn. mwhaahaha

…sadly no Paz, its Jeordie White, former Marilyn Manson bassist (known as “Twiggy Ramirez”) if memory serves correct. You may recall that Paz went on to record with Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins fame (who also had a female bassist, if memory serves correct) in Zwan. Incidentally Zwan is pretty good to - if not a little preachy at times. Gotta love Billy.
Of course she quit Zwan too. Guess she can’t stay in a successful band or something.
Also worthy of note - James Iha is the other guitarist in APC now - and he is from the Smashing Pumpkins as well. It ought to be a kicking show.
Wow that looks like the plot line to some lame ass soap opera about alternative rock. I suggest perpetuating it and making http://www.allmusic.com your friend.

I had thought about the Scotland trip, but that was more of a trek or a visit than a vacation. Yes I did like Scotland very much. And maybe I am feeling a bit sorry for myself, but…well, I really have no point. But that trip was seven years ago, anyway. I don’t think three nights in Scotland can really tide my nerves over for nearly a decade. Don’t we deserve a vacation, a honeymoon? We could start fundraising here on jefke.com. I’ll just remind everyone that as a future nurse, I could be taking care of you one day, so take care of me today!!

sarge…
righto on the zwan info, i actually saw them up here last year, was a pretty good show, but a little cheezy as you mentioned. made me realize that i’m too old to be seeing live music with 15 year olds. worst part of taht show was that queens of the stone age opened and went on wayyy before we got there. it was a shame. as for iha, never did like him, can’t say why, have no real reason, but never did.
as for natty. yes we do deserve a honeymoon and we’ll go on one this summer, and maybe never come back…if the bahamas are as nice as you say they are.

Are you supposed to say, “the Bahamas is,” or the Bahamas are?” And if you say, “the Bahamas are,” then is there such a thing as one Bahama? And yes, I love the Bahamas, but I would always come back, because my kitties live here and I love them!

The webhost my friend uses is http://www.fortunecity.com
To quote him - “They’re fucking awesome”. Yes, that is a direct quote.
One drawback - 89 bucks a year. Not too bad - like 8 bucks a month. What is that a bottle of Evan Williams maybe? But they’re always up and he has had nothing but goodness from them.
Just wanted to remind you.
