Debt Is Seen Taking Toll on Jackson?s Lavish Style
ok so i have tried not to get all caught up in the MJ scandal, but this line is just too much
“By any stretch, Mr. Jackson, who is 45, must be considered wealthy. But according to accounts of his close advisers and industry friends and court records, he is also an extravagant spender whose wealth is being consumed by an appetite for monkeys, Ferris wheels and surgery.”
is it me or does that imply that he eats the monkeys?

I saw the controversial documentary where MJ confesses to sleeping with children, and the guy who did it followed him around for a long time. He saw the ins and outs of Neverland (except maybe the secret dungeon). Yes, there are ferris wheels. And yes, we know he spends a lot on personal bodily disfigurement. But there were no monkeys. Not a single one. If he’s spending money on monkeys, somebody has to be eating them.

I agree. The better phrasing choice would have listed monkeys either second or last.
