So you’ll notice that i beefed out the site over the long weekend. most of the old stuff is here, and thanks to the blog, all orgainzed by date and shit. I’ll get to coverting maloney’s old emails soon, maybe today…since i’m only part time at work now. well for the near future at least. You’ll also notice that I cleaned up the left hand navigation, and the side content, finally dicthing my “break the bitterness” campaign, which all told was not very successful. I’m contemplating trying to get jefke.org up and running again, though i’m not sure if i have enough databases to do it.

So i was looking at pcmag yesterday and one of their angry old school computer dudes had an editorial on personal websites, blogging and how blogs are just like how CD-ROMs and the dot com’s were in the past. to be honest i don’t reall understand were he was going with all of it. though he did link to a couple other editorials that he has written about blogging. Apparenly this guy is annoyed at the shameless self promotion that is involved in maintaning a blog. odd that he basically has a blog but he calls it an article/editorial. but whatever. my point is, he mentioned that almost all blogs (from his perspective) end up being a journal with cat pictures. I found it interesting that after 2 + years of having a website, it wasn’t until i installed this blogging software that i immediately put up a picture of a cat. i’m so predictable.

i’m contemplating getting a second job maybe as a stock boy across the street. the bar across the street needed a dish washer/barback on the weekends a couple weeks ago. i totally should have jumped on that. dunno why i let it go. oh yeah, i’m lazy.
