ok, friday, 7:39 pm, 1.5 martini’s consumed, dammit it’s time for soul
searching…I just figured out that the Men at Work/colin what ever lead
singer guy song “overkill” might very well be my theme song. neurosis
central…and yet, it’s no, “it’s just overkill”…too bad it’s a soft
rock song, although perhaps it’s perfect, maybe i’m all softrock after
all.
relax everyone, i was out bid on the aeron, and well i decided that in
the long run, i really don’t need one. I remember from my marketing class,
there’s a term “post purchase cognizant dissonance”, bascially i needed
an immediate confirmation that my bidding was the best thing i could do
for myself at this given time…well i didn’t get that, and then i started
to worry and then well, i was happy that i was out bid. maybe i’ll get
back on the horse post war.
