What a year, thank god it’s over. What to say, it started out bad, then
got worse, and then a bit worse, and well it started to look up for a
minute there at the end. Christmas was very nice we headed up to the compound
late Christmas eve, in what could be called a snow storm but it wasn’t
really a storm per se. After a Chicken whopper Jr. at the Clara Barton
rest stop on the NJ tpke, things started to look up and by the time we
hit CT, the roads were dry. Cool thing was that on Xmas morning it really
started to snow and by nite time there were 9 inches on the ground. Very
snow globe-esque.
New years (last nite) was very quiet for us, although we were able to
see the fireworks from balitmore harbor from our apartment window, that
means 4th of july party at our place, get your reservations in early.
Other than that, fair reader, not much has been going on. Yesterday was
my final day as a temp (or so i hope), and while there were no tearful
good byes, it was an interesting vibe as i walked out for the last time.
I am in full prep. mode for my telecommuting job (slippers are on back
order until 1/2). So what out!
